The latest report from APRICORP shows that the low-carbon energy industry in the Middle East and North Africa region is accelerating project activities, with the project value reaching 257 billion US dollars by 2030. These industries include renewable energy (solar photovoltaic, wind energy, hydropower), hydrogen energy, nuclear energy, and garbage based power generation.
Following Enel's announcement of the plan to build a solar cell manufacturing plant in the United States, the company's 3Sun plant leader disclosed to PV Tech Premium that the company is conducting in-depth discussions on the risks of some form of collaboration, investment, or more upstream manufacturing projects to ensure the most robust factory value proposition possible.
Recently, the Ministry of Ecological Transformation and Population Challenges of Spain announced that the bidding process for the 2022 renewable energy power generation project in the country was completed, but the results were dismal. It is understood that the total scale of this bidding is 3.3 million kilowatts, including 1.5 million kilowatts for onshore wind power and 1.8 million kilowatts for photovoltaic power generation. In the end, the photovoltaic power generation project won no bid, and the winning capacity of the onshore wind power project was only 46000 kW.
